2 weeks after 1st chemo

3 legs - no problems

Maggie continues to amaze us with her progress.  This weekend we took her to our place in the mountains and she did everything as usual.  She hopped up the hill, investigated underneath the goat barn.  Met a skunk and did not get skunked (unlike her brother Cody).  She is doing so well!

Her blood work after the 1st treatment came back fine.  White blood cells looked good.  More blood work tomorrow and chemo next week.   So far so good!

  2. Yay for Maggie! Holly and she must be on the same chemo schedule – her 1st was 2 weeks ago, and her 2nd is next week too. We’ll keep praying that chemo continues to go well for both of them. And we’ll keep fingers and paws crossed that she continues to evade the skunks!

  3. So great that Maggie continues to do so well! I bet a big sigh of relief for you too. She looks so strong and stealth – forget about the hill, I bet she’ll be climbing that mountain in no time (and hopefully no skunks along the way!)

  4. Pawesome you are doing so well after chemo Maggie! We just read your last post too that said the doctors give you about a year. Don’t focus on that, you need to focus on today and enjoy every minute you can! Make sure you are spoiled rotten and keep climbing those hills!!!
